So so so...
today, my friend Steve had some details about our cruise to share including but not limited to the grand total of our adventure: $900.00-ish. All I can say is I better be having some life changing experience on this cruise or I'm going to complain till I die.
I have no doubts that this cruise is going to be the single greatest trip I've ever taken in my entire life .. and that's not to belittle the trips I've been on because I have been to many a places. But I've never been on a cruise so this will be interesting.
Earlier today though, my family and I finally put up the Christmas lights. I know you're thinking what?! it's literally 2 days before Christmas, what took you guys so long!? well, how cute is my family .. they wanted to wait till I got home to put up the Christmas decorations. A little cheesy, but it really made me feel like I was still part of this family, which is something I have not been feeling lately. I mean, I love my family, they love me, but because I'm about 9-10 ish hours away (driving wise) it's a little hard to feel as connected to my parents and siblings .. you know?
But anyway, the front yard looks corny but spectacular. The inside of the house looks even more corny, yet just as spectacular. And I can't wait for CHRISTMAS DAY.
I've got these sweet holiday pajamas that I've been dying to bust out and wear. I really am ready to run around in christmas spandex. YUM!
And also, we have supplies for building gingerbread houses on Christmas day. God, I'm fun.
So I know what I want for Christmas now .. other than world peace and the solving of world hunger.
1) A new cell phone. Perhaps a blackberry or a t-mobile wing. Yeah, most definitely a wing.
2) A new camera. Preferably the newest Sony Cybershot. My camera right now is the original version of the Sony Cybershot (DSC - T1). The first of the slide shutter editions. It's about 3 and 1/2 years old and is currently held together with scotch tape. I know, ghetto.
3) An LCD, flatscreen television. The ones that are so inexpensive this season that is should be considered illegal. I mean, just the other night at the base exchange I saw a 24 inch LCD Sony flatscreen for $650. Seriously. Originally priced at $1279 if anyone's wondering.
4) A digital video camcorder. I'm going on a cruise after all. I might have to document every single second of every single day. Yes.
I'm not picky, I just know what I like.
