032008 - I'm sick

I keep trying to deny that I'm sick when it is obvious that I am. I can't breathe through my nose properly and I just sound gross. What did Steve call me last night? Oh, that's right, typhoid Crystal. That just made me feel super wonderful.

So I've spent the entirety of my spring break hanging out with friends and making new friends. On St. Patty's Day, we started at Fountain Square. Fun, yes, but not as fun as later that night when Jenn, Katie and I went to U.C. to hang out with some friends there. Those kids are a riot. I love them and I've only hung out with them once.

Mornings are spent at work, giving random tours and busy work. I don't mind it at all. I've been spending a lot of time with Kristin too. We went to the mall the day before last, but not before I walked across campus in the POURING RAIN. It came down so hard that Hamilton was under flood warning. Oh, Cincinnati. Anyway, when we got to the mall, she bought a bear from build-a-bear and then made me carry the box around. She's super awesome. Side note - we went into that new store that just opened up, Metrocity? maybe...can't remember. But it had the cutest tops and I definitely want to go back there and get this one shirt ... That night we went to her house and we just hung out, ordered pizza and watched television. She doesn't like sausage and that's my favorite kind. Our friendship is doomed. Jenny, another new friend I've made, came over that night too and she's hilarious. She likes sausage on her pizza.

Last night, I hung out with Kristin, Jenny and another new friend Amanda. Very fun bunch. I got a VIP tour of the "West Side." Apparently, there's a big rivalry between the west side and the east side. I don't get it. But I've got some seriously funny pictures of the most random stuff from their stomping grounds. We went to Front Porch, the cutest little coffee house ever! I'm definitely going back there to just sit and people watch.

We ended up calling Steve, going to his apartment and watching the ending to Rent, which I still don't get. Whatever, I was sick last night and he wasn't helping.

Today, in the office, we're having a game viewing party. Pizza with sausage, involved.

I really want to drive up to Dayton on Easter Sunday and see the Hearthrobs. Chicka chicka yeah. I could never pass up Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby and John Lloyd Cruz. Come on! Now getting tickets and getting into the Victoria Theatre is a whole new issue. Blah, if there's a will, there is a way.

New song: Love in this Club by Usher. It's about time he came out with something new. I've been waiting for a while and his stuff is always solid.

Tomorrow...I don't know what my plans are, but they're gonna be sweet plans.

Zumbiel implosion on Sat. morning. Thank the God.
